We first worked with JFA Environmental Planning on a large residential project in Iwade, Kent. JFA were commissioned to assess the ecology on site. We are very impressed with their creative solutions to ensure that they achieve surveys on time and within budget. We were kept fully informed of the process and timescales throughout and this has continued to be my experience on subsequent projects. We since also instructed JFA to extend their services and work on a number of landscape plans for us and have received extremely high quality items of work. We now consider JFA to be our GO TO ecologist and are exceedingly pleased to recommend their services.

We engaged JFA Environmental Planning on a project opening we had in Hampshire to undertake a Vegetation Survey. We choose this company because of their ability to deliver reports in time and on budget. After initial input from ourselves, they understood our requirements to deliver an exceptional report and exceeded our expectation on delivery. I’m happy to use JFA again on future projects, their ability to work to our high standards has impressed us no end.

The team at JFA Environmental Planning have provided expert and clear guidance, steering us through the bureaucracy of the Natural England licencing system. I have especially appreciated the hard work and determination that they demonstrated in designing a strategy to satisfy Natural England and help us achieve our tight works schedule.

The integrated landscape and ecological approach that JFA Environmental Planning provided has enabled us to achieve planning permission at Bridge Nurseries. This is a site of ecological sensitivity, and is an area which local residents hold dear to their hearts. Through the landscape and ecology scheme that JFA Environmental Planning have devised we will now not only deliver great homes but also a fantastic landscape setting rich in wildlife for the benefit of local residents.

I would definitely recommend JFA Environmental Planning. During construction at a site in Sussex, it was necessary to undertake some works with a sensitive habitat protected by a planning condition. They were quick to provide a method statement, site briefing and liaise with stakeholders to allow us to proceed without delay whilst we remained compliant with the planning condition.

Recently, on a refused planning application for a residential project, we were able to get the council to withdraw an ecology related reason for refusal. The ecological assessment report specifically prepared by JFA was of prime importance in achieving this. JFA also impressed with their skills in aiding clients through the planning process, and we would certainly recommend them for suitable projects to any of our clients.

JFA, through their innovative and collaborative approach, provided solutions to our ecological constraints. Failure to do so could have resulted in costly delays to the project and undermined the viability of the whole project. Through JFA’s approach to resolving the ecological constraints we were able to stay on track with our development programme.

JFA successfully supported us for our reserved matters application relating to the first phase of Mindenhurst, Deepcut for 215 dwellings. I would like to thank the team for their efforts on what is a fantastic scheme and look forward to working with them on future projects.
