Training and Education - Philippines

A tiered education programme promoting awareness and understanding of forest ecology and conservation issues in the Philippines was developed for high school students with Coral Cay Conservation and the Foundation for Outreach, Research & Ecological & Sociological Technology, Inc. (FOREST). The programme focused not only on environmental education within schools but also facilitated field visits and training future educators via dedicated scholarship programmes. The work was co-supported by the British Ecological Society.
