Our approach adopts a holistic perspective that relies on the integration and understanding
of local and regional information concerning ecological, environmental and human social processes,
communities and cultural influences/ beliefs, functions, structure, and the interconnections between
them. Such information from data collection through interpretation to management plans is used to
(collaboratively) develop and implement short and long term environmental management strategies in
consultation with appropriate stakeholders.
